Athenian Apartments - Syntagma sq. #5

It was a wonderful location and I loved the space. I would certainly rerun. Positive: Location was wonderful and very spacious. Negative: I wish you included a downstairs door key. It was frustrating to go back and forth to unlock the door. The bathroom had some bugs in the crevasse of the shower. The floors were dirty and little rubber bands everywhere.

Positive: Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία (πάροδος Ερμού), ασφαλές πολυκατοικία (πόρτα και παράθυρα ασφαλείας, καγκελόπορτα στην είσοδο), τέλεια ηχομόνωση, (δεν ακούς ούτε καζανάκι από τα άλλα διαμερίσματα), πολύ άνετο και καθαρό διαμέρισμα φουλ εξοπλισμένο.

Fantastic host, great location! Construction work this year but very quiet the previous years Positive: Fantastic host, and a great location right in the city centre but, in general, very quiet. The living room is large enough to not feel cramped, and there is a small kitchen sufficient for short stays. We have been coming for many years and are always happy to return, mostly because of the always reliable and helpful host and the good location. Negative: The apartments are beginning to show their age a bit: There are a number of small things beginning to fall apart / rattle, but nothing to seriously be a bother. The hot water system that requires you to turn on the heater 15-30 mins before showering is a little annoying but very common in Greece, so that's just something to accept as a visitor. The only major issue for us was the noise this year from nearby construction work both late at night and early in the morning, even on the weekend. Our host tried to be supportive as much as he could but we were only there for a few days, and not much could be done in that timeframe. That said, we have been here many years and this was the only year we've had that problem, and I assume it was a one-off issue. Prices have gone up substantially with the geopolitical adventures in the last years (far more than inflation) but that is sadly true for the area, so it's either accept that, or go to a different area / country.

Positive: The location was perfect!!! On Ermou street, you can walk everywhere in Athens! The room was big and clean. If I come to Athens again I would love to stay here again!! Thank uu
